Through making a range of casual clothing, Daily Delkūk aims to support restoration of diminishing local crafts and training of younger generations to preserve ancient techniques and traditions.
Textiles are carefully sourced from workshops in line with the same values of quality, sustainability as well as training and employment of local artisans.
Natural dyeing is an in-house project which supports the understanding of natural resources available in each region and the wisdom of the past generations in discovering them that both lead to creating formulas that are affordable for all, environmentally safe and durable to use. This process at times creates remarkable accidental effects that cannot be repeated.
In line with the idea of being honest, natural and authentic, as far as possible, Daily Delkūk employs fabric weft and warp strand and natural fibre characteristics in the design of all garments. Design and production are seen as a direct continuation of the yarn spinning, dyeing and weaving process.
